Simon Ragsdale, Priti Thanasi and the Broughton Dental Practice team
Simon Ragsdale BDS 1981, GDC: 55922
Simon qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1981. He did his vocational training in Leamington Spa, working there and in Rugby as an associate. He joined the Broughton Practice in 1985 and became a Principal in 1986.
Simon carries out all aspects of general dentistry, but is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry and endodontics.
He is married to Cath, they have two daughters.
His interests outside dentistry include aero modelling, amateur dramatics and photography.
Priti Thanasi BDS 1997, GDC: 73059
Priti qualified from Birmingham in 1997. She then did her vocational training in Lincoln and worked there as an associate for 5 years before joining Broughton Astley as a Principal Dentist in 2002.
Priti likes keeping up to date with the latest developments in dentistry. She completed an Aesthetic Course in 2007 and an Advanced Restorative Course in 2008. She has also spent time training in Facial Aesthetics offering Botox and Facial Fillers.
Priti has a special interest in Endodontics and is aiming to gain a Diploma in Endodontics in the next few years.
Priti is very calming and gentle with patients and known to be very good with nervous patients.
She is married to Yannis and has two children, Sophia and Lucas, and enjoys cooking, travelling, gardening, cooking and socialising.
Andrea Hines - Hygienist, GDC: 2907
Andrea qualified from Women's Royal Naval Service in 1983; working within the forces for 4 years.
She then joined Civvie Street, where she has worked in local practices ever since. Andrea joined Broughton Astley in June 2006.
Andrea has a very gentle technique preferring to practice the delicate method of hand scaling.
She is married and has 2 teenage sons. Her interests include travel, keeping fit and gardening.
