What is Involved in Implant Treatment?

Initial Consultation

As your first step on the journey to implant treatment at Broughton Dental Practice, we invite you to attend a Free Consultation with our highly experienced Implant Dentist.

This is your appointment will provide you with the opportunity to find out more about us and our unique approach to dental care, to find out more about Dental Implants, and to ask us any questions or queries you may have. This is not a clinical appointment, it follows the format of an informal, no obligation chat – and is aimed at helping you to decide if you would like to start your journey to a new smile with us.

Clinical Assessment

Then if you are interested in proceeding with treatment – your next step would be to see our Dental Implant Dentist for a Clinical Assessment. During this appointment, they will discuss the technical aspects of treatment with you as well as take Xrays of your mouth so that checks can be made to ensure you are suitable for treatment (ie. you have enough bone for implants to be placed in your jaw). A personalised Treatment Plan outlining proposed timeframes and costs will then be developed for you.

Review of Treatment Plan and Finance Options

We will then take the time to review your Treatment Plan with you in order to help you understand the different stages of proposed treatment as well as to answer any further questions or queries you may have. We will also discuss the range of finance options we provide at Broughton Dental Practice so that, should you be interested, you can make payment in affordable monthly amounts. (Please note that finance is subject to status and terms and conditions apply – for more information about our Finance options please click here >>)

Treatment Carried Out

Your Dental Implant treatment will then be carried out by our highly experienced Dental Implant Dentist. You will be kept informed about what is happening, and when, so that you always feel confident and comfortable in every stage of your treatment.

Treatment After Care and Ongoing Support

Once treatment has been completed, you will be provided with comprehensive After Care information and instructions. We always keep a close eye on our valued patients at Broughton Dental Practice so we will also arrange regular follow-up appointments with you to ensure that we can continue to provide you with ongoing support with your dental implants and oral health care.
